Isola Rossa

The climate in Monte Argentario is particularly good - even in the height of summer when there is the warm wind from North Africa (the 'Scirocco'), high humidity and cloudy conditions tend to last for only one or two days before the 'Mistrale' brings sunshine and cooling breezes again. When the Scirocco does come, we recommend making the most of the opportunity, and driving to Saturnia to enjoy a dip in the thermal waters.

Even the winters in Monte Argentario are usually very mild due to the protection of the hills and southern aspect. As a result, it is great fun to come out of season even at Easter. Most of our properties have working fireplaces so its easy to get a fug up and be warm an cosy even when there is unusually cold spell.
